Mathematics has been known as a branch of science that brought about a great deal of assistance in human history, from the age of ancient Babylonian until the age of computers. As Carl Friedriech Gauss has stated mathematics as “the Queen of the Sciences”, mathematics is indeed the mother of science that influenced many other science including physics, statistics, economics, and computer science.
There are many problems in human life that can be solved by math answers. Take economics for example, prediction of product sales can be satisfactorily done with math help. Furthermore, the need of a tool to solve math problems has in turn led to computer invention that now become indispensable tool for human life.
That’s why mathematics should be learnt in elementary school, because mathematics is the root of the other sciences. It will help students to understand other branch of science and serve as a mean for problem solving in most cases in one’s personal life.
I always using mathematics everyday. Especially pas lagi blanja sayur di warung… :lol:
